Chapter two
About Jade
Novels about the things that are supposed to be safe, and the small lies that hold them together.

Jade Lee Wright writes about the things that are supposed to be safe, like motherhood, marriage, friendship and home, and the small lies that hold them together. She began with two self-published novels before signing with Joffe Books, one of the UK’s leading independent publishers, and has since signed multiple book deals with them.
Her first novel for Joffe, The Baby Group, was published in July 2025, followed by The Wedding Lies and The Stolen Twin. All of them are narrated on Audible. What she is working on now, and where it is up to, goes on the news page.
She studies English Literature and Creative Writing with the Open University, where her work has been awarded a distinction, and her writing has been highly commended in Writing Magazine. She was shortlisted for the Marlowe & Christie Novel Prize in 2024 and longlisted for the Lucy Cavendish Fiction Prize in 2025. She also runs the Bookstagram page Boho Bookworm, where she has been reviewing and championing other people’s books for years.
She lives in the English countryside with her husband, two young sons and two mischievous ginger cats. When she isn’t writing, or daydreaming about the next twist, you’ll usually find her with her nose in a book.
