Welcome to my new website
Hi everyone, welcome to my new website! A place where you can be kept up to date on all my bookish news.
At the moment I'm eagerly anticipating the Audible Original release of my third psychological thriller, The Stolen Twin, which comes out tomorrow! I can't wait to hear it be brought to life.
As for what I'm currently working on… having signed books five and six with Joffe Books, I'm about 16,000 words into book five (another psychological thriller.. of course!). This one's working title is The Guest… and as you can probably guess, it's about a sinister guest in my main character's house! Think claustrophobic vibes, tension oozing off the page and a twist to leave your jaw hanging down to the floor. I've given myself until the end of January to write this one so while that might sound like a lot of time, I'm quietly starting to feel the nerves! With my final essay for my uni degree due in September, a demanding job and a young family, I definitely do know how to challenge myself! But I'd have it no other way.
That being said, I recently finished my very first spicy romance which I started querying and received a handful of full requests for and a number of offers! I chose to go with Northbank Talent because their clear passion for my story shone through and I'm so excited to start polishing it up with them and send it out on submission soon.
This is a place I'll be sharing my author news, the wins, the highs and the lows, keeping it as real and as authentic as I can. I hope you like it!
Until next time, Jade Lee Wright
