The small print
Privacy
The short version: this site collects nothing unless you type it into a form, and there is no advertising or tracking of any kind.
No tracking, no cookies
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Nobody is following you around the internet because you read about a book here.
If you use the contact form
Your name, email address, chosen subject and message are sent to Jade so she can reply. They are stored by Netlify, the company that hosts this website, and are used for nothing except answering you. They are not sold, shared or added to any mailing list.
If you join the mailing list
Your email address is kept so Jade can send occasional news about her books: publication dates, cover reveals, giveaways and events. Nothing else. Every email includes a link to leave, and leaving takes one click.
Things loaded from elsewhere
Two parts of this site load content from other companies, which means those companies can see that your browser asked for something:
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces used across the site.
- Instagram, through Behold supplies the photographs in the grid section, when a live feed is connected.
Links to Amazon, Audible, Goodreads and social media take you to those companies' own websites, where their privacy policies apply rather than this one.
Your rights
You can ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted entirely. Email jade@jadeleewright.com or use the contact form and it will be dealt with.
